INTRODUCTION

Working at height is one of leading causes of injury and death in the workplace. Some of the most common occurrence of injuries includes falling from a ladder and not taking adequate precautions when working on fragile or unstable surfaces.

The ‘Working at heights’ can be described as any place where a worker could fall.

This training course will show employers and staff how they can take simple, practical measures to reduce the risk of any of their workers falling while working at heights.

About The Course

This 1 day course is designed for mining operators, construction, maintenance and service persons that are required to work at heights or depths. The course is nationally recognised and delivered by experienced height safety specialists in plain everyday language.

Individual: $280
Company Group: $1800 (7 to 12 participants)
*Note: GST does not apply to nationally recognised training.

Where: Malaga Training Centre or on-site in Western Australia
Duration: 1 Day (up to 8 hours)

Conditions: Must be 18 years to enrol in this course

Upon successful completion of both the theoretical and practical assessments will lead to the issue of a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights.

From 1 January 2015 each student will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to obtain their certificate or qualification from their registered training organisation, when studying nationally recognised training in Australia. Obtain USI Number

If an organization or a student wishes to cancel a course booking the following details will apply.

Cancellation with-in 5 business days prior to the course, 20% of the course fee will be charged.

Cancellation with-in 2 business days prior to the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.

Fees will be non-refundable for participants who book a place in a training course and do not show up on the day that the course is held.

A full refund will be offered to students when Access Unlimited must cancel a course due to minimum booking numbers not being met or due to any other unforeseen circumstances at the responsibility of Access Unlimited whereby the course cannot be held.
