Tower Rescue Training is our signature course which includes the ICTTCR203 – Use Safe Rigging Practices to Climb and Perform Rescues on Telecommunications Network Structures accreditation and the RIIWHS204E – Work safely at Heights accreditation.

Our team of instructors (Tower Rescue Safety Training Specialists) will help participants obtain the skills and knowledge required to work on tall structures including climbing of masts and towers as well as rigging. The training program is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of the risks and hazards associated with tower rescues, as well as the best practices and techniques for managing those risks.

Our course covers a range of topics, including tower rescue equipment, rescue plans and procedures, anchor systems, and communication protocols. We also provide hands-on training in the use of harnesses, ropes, and other safety equipment so you can be confident in your ability to perform safe and effective tower rescues.

COURSE INFORMATION

About The Course

This course is delivered over 2 days providing participants with the skills and knowledge required to use rigging practices to assess risk and climb and perform rescues from Telecommunication Network Structures. Although this course is designed specifically for the Telecommunication industry the rescue practices that are covered can be used to carry out a Rope Rescue for most vertical rescue scenarios.

It applies to technical staff who work in a team environment and who use rigging on telecommunications radio structures and may make use of rigging plant and equipment, fall arrest, fall guarding and fall constraint. This course includes the nationally recognised RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights accreditation.

Upon successful completion of both the theoretical and practical assessments will lead to the issue of a Statement of Attainment ICTTCR203 Use Safe Rigging Practices to Climb and Perform Rescues on Telecommunications Network Structures and RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights.

From 1 January 2015 each student will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to obtain their certificate or qualification from their registered training organisation, when studying nationally recognised training in Australia. Obtain USI Number

If an organization or a student wishes to cancel a course booking the following details will apply.

Cancellation with-in 5 business days prior to the course, 20% of the course fee will be charged.

Cancellation with-in 2 business days prior to the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.

Fees will be non-refundable for participants who book a place in a training course and do not show up on the day that the course is held.

A full refund will be offered to students when Access Unlimited must cancel a course due to minimum booking numbers not being met or due to any other unforeseen circumstances at the responsibility of Access Unlimited whereby the course cannot be held.
