About the Course

This 5 day Industrial Twin Rope Access practical training course, is specifically created for personnel required to work aloft on structures such as communication and transmission towers, pylon and masts, high rise window cleaning, painting or maintenance, sign installation, work on bridges, power stations, mines, cliffs and oil rigs etc. The course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to perform rope access techniques including rescue from industrial structures.

This course includes the Nationally Recognised RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights qualification.

Note: This course is physically demanding and participants must be capable of climbing and perform rope access techniques.

  • Inspection and maintenance of equipment
  • Selection and rigging of anchors
  • Tying of knots
  • Rope access manoeuvres
  • Self rescue
  • Rescue of suspended casualty
  • Casualty management and stabilisation
  • Height safety regulations, legislation and Australian standards
  • Height safety risk assessment and control measures
  • Fall dynamics
  • Inspection requirements for working at heights
  • Selection and correct use of fall protection equipment
  • Emergency plan and rescue procedures

Upon successful completion of this course a Certificate of Attendance will be supplied by the “Australian Rope Access Association" and Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your training course booking, try to do this as early as possible as the following fees will apply:

  • Less than 5 business days notice prior to the course: 20% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Less than 2 business days notice prior to the course: 50% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Fees will be non-refundable for participants who book a place in a training course and do not show up on the day that the course is held.
